Egg tempera paint on paper, c.25.4cm x 30.5cm

This painting was inspired by a breakfast I had at a restaurant called Dishoom, in London. I’m always drawn to reflective surfaces, such as polished metal and still water, and here I was particularly fascinated with how the three primary colours, red, blue and yellow, came together.
